A Love That Resurrects Me [Poem]

Past love, Past romance
Nothing special
Nothing endearing
Than the majestic love you bestow

Your love seeps into my soul
And lights me up
Like the glimmer of a thousand stars
And leaves a aromatic scent of ecstasy

A loyalty that lingers
Despite my rude and selfish reasons
A heart that gets injured
But radiates a warm glow

When you decide to leave
I will be the world’s poorest
For I have lost, the precious treasure -
A love that resurrects me
A love that resurrects me
