This is my first blog. I've been thinking of starting my own blog for a long time. I'm really excited about this blog.

I'll be covering a wide range of varities in my blog. I will be posting about games, stories, poems, personal experiences, movies etc. My motive is to make my opinion known and at the same time I want to make sure that my readers get entertainment and knowledge.

Review of "The Heirs", Korean Drama

After watching the whole drama, the final part awed me. I am wonder-struck by the story line and the ending. At first when I watched the first episode, it wasn't that great. Even the following episodes, 2 and 3 are strikingly similar to other previous dramas. The school part seems like a remake of "Boys Over Flowers". I felt like, oh, not again, another drama about high school. This drama is different from the ones I prefer, which have a twist of fantasy in it- the entrance of one soul to another body(Pure Love:49 days), the swapping of spirit between a boy and a girl(Secret Garden), the spirit of a young man in a old man's body(Big), a girl pretending to be a boy(You're Beautiful, Coffee Prince), a group of prehistoric warriors being teleported to modern time(Rooftop Prince). Emotive Function of Language in Lawrence’s “Spring Funeral”

“The Spring Funeral” is an excerpt taken from” The White Peacock”, the first novel of D.H Lawrence. The novel was written in 1906 but finally published in 1911 after three revisions. It is narrated in the first person by a character named Cyril Beardsall. The spring funeral takes place in the chapter 2 “The shadow in spring”. This particular section, is a pastoral elegy, that raises the issues propounded in Emotive Theory by I.A. Richards, such as valorization of nature, synasthesia, human sensibility and organicity. In the description of spring funeral, the writer like a painter, depicts the early spring season with the vibration of the non-human world, the birds like larks, thrush, lapwings and the black-legged lamb. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could get the person whom we love most? What if love was easy to get? What if we didn’t have to love someone secretly? I wish things would work out with a girl I love. She’s the definition of perfection. She’s my ultimate dream, which I see every time. She’s the catwoman. She’s not a superhero but she’s a super girl in my life. But I’m too shy to tell her.
